AC Water Heater: Water heater transplanted into AC

Using the air conditioner or water heater (AC [Air Conditioner] Water Heater) is a type of water heater that utilizes the heat energy generated by the AC. This is an innovation that is still fairly new for a water heater. With AC water heater requires no new additional energy to get hot water for domestic use, such as for example a shower. Not all types of air conditioning can be "grafted" with this water heater. Generally split type air conditioner that can be grafted, the windows are the type of air conditioning could not.

Air conditioner using Freon gas as a coolant. When entering into the Indoor Unit (evaporator) temperature is very cold freon. Cold temperature of the exhaled freon to cool the room. And so on. 

In Water Heater AC, very high temperature refrigerant coming out of the compressor is channeled to the heating element (heat exchanger) that is in the tank and heats the water that is in the tank, as shown the following scheme.

After the exit of the heating element in the tank heater, the temperature is not too hot and freon cooled condenser back in the Outdoor Unit. Out of Outdoor Unit cold freon back into the Indoor Unit to cool the room. And so on.

In conclusion, this type of water heater 100% dependent on the work of Split AC. How much quantity and quality (water temperature) hot water you get depends on how long the AC Split work continuously (on) and how big the tank heating capacity. 

In some cases the AC for household use, the reason the cost of electricity, the AC is only used at certain times, only at night when going to bed, for example. Effective air conditioner turns on only briefly, a few hours only. And result in the water heater is not working optimally, especially if a large heating capacity tank. 

To overcome this problem, manufacturers of this type of water heater has set many options heater tank adapted to the needs of the family. Starting from a wide selection of tank capacity: small - medium - large, up to the amount of its heat exchangers: single and double heat exchangers heat exchangers, using AC Split 2.

In addition there is also a double tank heater heat exchanger heat exchanger is one of its uses electrical energy as a backup when the heating of the air conditioner is not enough to heat the water in the tank.
